Game On - Parenting for Dads

Fathers Group "Game On"

This is a group specifically for dads. It started in response to men telling us that there was a lack of support for men who were struggling in their role as fathers.

The programme runs each term throughout the year and explores issues such as theimg003.jpg

  • Role of fathers
  • Communication
  • Relationships
  • Managing conflict
  • Child behaviour management
  • Nutrition

The aim is to encourage and support men who want to improve their relationship with their children and make the most of the opportunity they have as fathers in their childs formative years.

Some common issues for men parenting children can include:

  • Managing difficult behaviours
  • Being an access dad
  • Not having enough time with your children
  • Being a step dad, being a solo dad

"Game On" is facilitated by Social Worker Mike Tonks

Cost- There is no cost for this group
